Situation: A brand with reach, but not recognition

BCBS Global Solutions is a leader in international health insurance, known for delivering world-class coverage to globally mobile individuals, students, and businesses. Despite its strength, the brand had started to create confusion across customer and broker experiences. The company appeared under different names across markets and products, creating an inconsistent experience for both customers and brokers.

This disjointed architecture created significant confusion and risk and the complexity was holding the business back. Leadership saw a clear opportunity to simplify and unify: rebrand under a single, globally aligned identity that reflects its purpose, digital-first strategy, and commitment to making international healthcare easier to navigate. The result was a transformation from GeoBlue to Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Global Solutions.

As the rebrand unfolded, it quickly became clear that it touched far more than visual identity. It reached into the core systems and operations of the business.

With the right structure in place, BCBS Global Solutions launched its new brand and product architecture, beginning with core insurance offerings and expanding into corporate and student markets.

Internally, the rebrand aligned business units and functions around a shared identity. Externally, it enabled a more seamless customer experience powered by modernized platforms, including a fully rebuilt website and secure digital infrastructure.
